2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin Images

The 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin was first revealed to the public on July 30, 2008. The unveiling took place in Baltimore, Maryland following the opening ceremonies for the ANA World's Fair of Money.

The finished coins were included as part of a larger exhibit presented by the United States Mint. The Ultra High Relief Coin exhibit showed the entire life cycle of the coin from raw material, to plaster, to feasibility and progression strikes, to finished product.
